A while back someone was faced with a life-changing decision which would affect many facets of this life.............
One night at the height of his uncertainty......... he dreamt that he was driving a great big bus through the narrow streets of an old city.
Every time he had to turn a corner, he thought he wouldn't make it, but each time he managed to do so, just to start panicking again as the next corner loomed!
He was sure he would eventually meet with disaster...........
The strangest thing however, was that he felt like 'a little boy sitting on the driver’s lap'.
While he thought he was driving the bus and everyone’s happiness depended on him, there was Higher Hand which took the turns with ease.
It's a case of being on the road WITH God....!
Consideration.....
We don’t have to handle everything that comes our way on our own !
That is why the concept of networking has always been around, and with technology which allows communication and consultation on a wider front, it has become more prevalent today. Not one of us has (anymore today), -all the knowledge, skills and insight to manage every aspect of your lives successfully.
We have each other to lean on to survive in our complex world.
Man is born to be inter-dependent & God-seeking
Going it alone, today, is not anymore the most appropriate answer............... like in the 'good old days'
Having 'true' Fellowship (Communion) with fellow believers (in Jesus Christ) is a necessity, nowadays, -but for the right reasons as it is explained in the Bible......
This should be the one place where we can...
- ....open our hearts, ask questions and make use of advice and information to help us on the way.
- ........test your ideas and weigh up your options.
- ........having the opportunity of being of significance to someone else &/or the be mentored ourselves.
Make sure your 'family' / 'those who are close to you', is part of this process since their prayers and support empower you to make the right decisions and to overcome the uncertainties of life-changing moves.
But above all, accept that you are in God’s hands.
Live ALSO as if you are totally 'reliant' of the Grace from God's Hands !
He will guide you on the way and will not allow you to meet with disaster that are NOT part of His 'bigger plan'for your Life......... ( Read again......Jer 29:11)
Just look back over your life (for 'historic proof /evidence' of this Surety) -and see where & when God did what, -when you couldn't!
Contemplation........
Ask theLord Jesus Christ to Guide us, (step-by-step) the Way, -especially when we see NO WAY out....!
To provide the certainty of knowing what we do ...........is within His' Will...
Thanking Him (day-by-day), for being in the Driving seat, time & time again, without us being aware or even realizing it............ !
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. Ex. 14:13-14
