Success ! ......as defined in the 'Eyes of God'

We live in a competitive world where it is difficult for many people to find joy in the success of others.......


How do you feel when a friend gets a 'break' ? 
When someone else in the company wins the award? 
When a classmate gets the top score on a test? 
When a sibling gets an incredible return on an investment? 
Do you feel instant joy or 'pangs' of resentment and jealousy?

We are often much better at comforting someone in their times of sorrow than sincerely celebrating their moments of triumph.....

Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.  Romans 12:15

 The answer is simple but difficult: 
..........we must first realize our own success is measured in the eyes of God - NOT in comparison with others. 


If God (through Jesus Christ), accepts me as I am ........ I'd better do the same..!


When that sinks into our hearts and minds, it is so much easier to rejoice in the success of others.

....with Gratitude for Blessing me & those around me.......


But, when everything is said & done : Intimacy with Him is the greatest measure of success. 
Pray - Daily to be Guided, -to the mountain of His' 'Presence....!
