Feelings....

Many of us go through some stage in our lives when we find ourselves strongly attracted to someone but afraid to let the other person know for a multitude of reasons. ....


Expressing our inner most feelings towards a person can make us vulnerable and open to abuse and denial.


It is often our fear of rejection more than the thought of acceptance,  -that deters us from pursuing our feelings for someone.
It even becomes more difficult to show affection without being perceived as too forward or suggestive.....


It is obvious that you are important to that person.
The person wouldn't take time out to be with you if that person doesn't feel attracted to you.
Just like some, most people find it hard to express because it also makes them vulnerable to rejection.
But then again a person's sweetness may have different meaning to whom it is shown and to whom that person shows it.
The only person who would know the meaning of that gesture would be the person giving it.
All other interpretations would just be assumptions which may or may not be true. ....


Things that may be trivial to others may already be crucial to you.
What that person needs are answers that will help in deciding which road to take.
But a person will never get answers by trying to figure out what the other person's action means.
I believe that the proper communication will make the big difference.
It seems pathetic to many but there is really nothing wrong about expressing one's feelings for another, as long as it is done in a manner that is neither demanding nor intimidating. ....!


Sometimes what a person needs is just a little confirmation that the actions are appreciated and accepted. What the other does after discovering what the person feels will give enough and clear reasons to continue loving or just move on to the next chapter of life.....


Love can be the most wonderful feeling in this world.
But, it only becomes complete when we share it with someone who feels the same for us.
It IS a 2-way Street......... !
Do not be afraid to love because the joy it brings can fulfill us beyond measure and the pain it sometimes inflicts can make us better and stronger persons.
Let's remember that love is NOT love when the person's intended for doesn't know or fell it.
We should not be afraid to take the challenge because those who succeed in love are those who are not afraid to be rejected because they believe that losing love because they have tried is better than losing love because they were just too afraid to get hurt.......
