Knowing........ & then 'doing' the Will of God?

 Enter into a "heart" relationship with God........
... & learn to 'discern' God's voice:

1st: Seek at the beginning to get my heart into such a state that it has 'no will of its own' in regard to a given matter........

2nd: Having done this, do NOT leave the result to: 'feeling' or 'simple impression'....... 
If so, I make myself liable to great delusions.
3rd:  Seek the Will of the Spirit of God through, or in connection with, the Word of God. 
The Spirit and the Word must be combined.
4th: Take into account providential circumstances. 
These often plainly indicate God's will in connection with His Word and Spirit.....
(Some of them might even be under normal circumstances... humanly impossible !)
5th: I ask God in prayer to reveal His will to me ........aright.
(The way in which His' Will might be revealed, could be part of another contemplation in a Blogg, another day......)


Thus, (1) through prayer to God, (2) the study of the Word, and (3) reflection, I come to a deliberate judgment according to the best of my ability and knowledge, and if my mind is thus at peace, and continues so after two or three more petitions, I proceed accordingly.

Consider these steps when discerning God's voice in your Life...
THE WILL OF GOD WILL NOT TAKE YOU.....

Where the ........

- arms of God cannot support you,
- wealth of God cannot provide according to your needs,
- power of God cannot equip you,
- Spirit of God cannot work through you,
- wisdom of God cannot teach you,
- armies of God cannot protect you,
- hand of God cannot form you,
- love of God cannot embrace you,
- mercy of God cannot support you,
- peace of God cannot calm you,
- power of God cannot witness in your favour,
- comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
- Word of God cannot nourish you,
- miracles of God cannot be done through and for you,
- omnipresence of God cannot find you,
- light of God cannot overcome your darkness
