One is to disbelieve in their existence.
The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them.
They themselves are equally pleased by both any of the two errors......
Among people of faith, there is some variation in opinion about spiritual warfare.
- Some see demons in everything....
- Others have more or less eliminated the existence of a personal devil from the equation of their spiritual practice.
While we can go astray by devoting too much thought and care to Satan, the Bible does tell us that we must be on our guard against spiritual attacks.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12
Fortunately, we are never in the battle alone.
God always arms us with His strength and enables us to defeat temptation and assaults on our Christian walk.....
In Ephesians 6, Paul tells us to take up the armor of God, including the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit.
We CAN deflect the attacks that would wound our souls by diligently nurturing our faith in God.

Pray to God the Father, -for Help by the Holy Spirit, to be vigilant and protective of your spiritual life. To Guard you & yours from the attacks of the devil, -today. (re. Ps. 91)
