Greatness...... has a Cost!

Everyone wants to be remembered...; leave a legacy;
At least to be respected, while alive.....


The Cost of 'true' Greatness is ...
-humble, 
-selfless, 
-sacrificial 
......Service.


God does not give all of us the same Gifts...., 
He does not call us all to the same vocation. 
But, all of us are called to .......'Humility-in-&-through-Service'


Paul told the Philippian church:
 "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing" (Philippians 2:5–7). 


It can be painful to serve God and others to the point of sacrifice..... 
But as Paul discovered, God supplies our every need along the way.



Consideration....
* Thank God, for so many examples in Scripture and in our life's of people who serve Him faithfully. 
* Ask Him to Create in us....'hearts that beat' to do His Will.
