Being in the Arena...?!
It is not the critic who counts; -not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better...
The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena;
-whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood;
-who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again...
-who spends himself in a worthy cause;
-who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement,
....and who at the worst,
-if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly...
You should NOT be listening to those trying to downplay what you’re doing at present with your life...
Their opinions have NOTHING to do with the outcome of the fight.
...Because they are NOT in it!
-They aren't doing what you are doing at 3am, -while half the planet is asleep…
-They aren't experiencing the Risk…
-They aren't learning the one thing you can't foresee (how you behave when your own efforts are solely on the line).
...but I am !
... & that's the only qualification that matters.
-A soldier needed a weapon.
-A boxer needed a corner.
Not to prove anything to the critic!
... but, to be able to survive long enough in the arena to actually win !
