Movement, growth, work, force, life itself - all require energy.....
The power source for the Christian life is connection to Jesus Christ !
Jesus paints a picture of a vineyard.
It may spread over hectares, but every living branch that bears fruit is connected to the vine.
Often, when we don't feel like we are effective in our 'service' - as a spouse, a parent, a ...whatever - we focus on techniques.....
We think of better methods and programs for making a difference.
BUT
Remember, God is NOT in the business of helping the humanly strong become stronger....
.....rather He takes the weak and makes them strong in Himself.....
Consideration....
Maybe we need to first take a step backwards and ask ourselves a few simple questions:
- Am I bearing fruit?
- How connected am I to Jesus Christ?
- Am I close to Him?
- Does He have my faith and love?
Consideration.......
It's amazing how everything else falls into place when that question is answered positively......
May both you & I ....... want NOTHING more, - than to be CLOSE to YOU...Jesus Christ !
