Time... What if it 'had run out'...?

What if there isn't "anymore"?

( I've witnessed an "accident" today....that made me realized ...
for the "N-th" time....:
'Preciousness-of-Being-Alive-Living-a-Life'
...Not being 'Alone'...)
Suppose........
...A person's 'other half ' "died", & on that clear, cold misty morning,
in the 'warmth of the thoughts' about their former association,
the 'remaining half',was struck with the gloom & pain of....
'learning' that sometimes there isn't "anymore".....
No more hugs,
No more special moments to celebrate together,
No more phone calls just to chat,
No more "just one minute"
Sometimes, what we care about the most,
- gets all used up &
- goes away,
- never to return,
- before we can say good-bye....
- or say "I love you."
So while we have it,
it's best we love it,
care for it,
fix it when it's broken, &
heal it when it's sick.
This is true for :
- any relationship, (-especially in marriage.....)
- old cars...
- children with bad attitudes &/or habits &/or school reports...
- dogs with bad hips...
- aging parents and grandparents.
We keep them because they are worth it,
because we are worth it.
Some things we keep ....
- like a best friend who moved away, or
- a 'former family member' after divorce....
There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what !
Life is important, like people we know who are special..
And so, we keep them close!
Nobody should be 'disposable' or
...just 'cast along the wayside' because of...
perhaps.... a former mistake / failure of the past..!
Suppose one morning YOU never wake up,
.......do all your family / friends know you love them?
Let every one of your family / friends know you love them.
And just in case I could/ ('one day I would') be gone tomorrow.......
"I wish I could have told you ....more times,
- how much you meant to me....!
- how much I would have loved to 'savor' (appreciate)
you more,
....Now &
...back then..!"
Live today because tomorrow is not promised.
Shalom
...Now!
