God brings joy to our lives in various ways......:
- a kind word/look from a friend,
- an accomplishment at work,
- the gentle whisper of His Spirit.
But throughout the ages, God has brought joy to us through the wonder of His creation.
Feeling down?
Maybe all you need is:
- a walk in the bush/woods,
- a stroll/jog next to the sea, enjoying the noise, spray from the surf, wind & sand against one's skin
- climbing a mountain.
It ALWAYS works for me.....
..that is besides the 'fact' that it is scientifically proven that 'exercise' at least 3 times a week is imperative to provide anyone with a reduction in 'depression-caused-by-daily turmoils' & staying reasonable 'stress free'.....
Consider the your 'own reaction' when looking at the world God made.
It may resemble thoughts similar to....
"When I look down
From lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook
And feel the gentle breeze;
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art! "
The creation is quite like a spacious and splendid house, provided and filled with the most exquisite and the most abundant furnishings.
Everything in it tells us of God.
Take time to notice ......
and celebrate
God’s greatness and gifts,
and you’'ll suddenly find many reasons
to be exuberantly .........joyful.
