Givers give cheerfully of whatever they have—even if it is only friendship, encouragement, and service—and always reap a reward and become 'richer' as persons.
Takers, who are always on the take to see what they can get for themselves, will always be paupers as persons, no matter how wealthy financially or otherwise they may or may not become. The "I,me & myself"-ego-centric attitude of them can never get enough & will always be dissatisfied, by wanting "one dollar more"..... !
I do believe that being a giver, has got a much greater Return on Investment in time to come.
Isn't that what we're each called for..?
Being the 'Feet & Hands of Jesus' in His' physical absence......
Because you and I have the light of God's Holy Spirit within us, we have a responsibility.
We are to send out a beam of truth into the circle of our family, friends, coworkers, and everyone we may 'co-incidentally'encounter.
Amidst the darkness of our age, we're called to be like a lighthouse.
In foggy weather or on dark nights, lighthouses warn ships of danger and help guide them safely through treacherous waters.......
Jesus said: "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lamp-stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven...." (Matthew 5:14-16).
May I, ( & you, if you would embrace the daily challenge), to help others in guiding them to the best of our ability (BUT, -with God's Help) through treacherous waters....... !
