The young woman sobbed as she told her small group of friends of the divorce she had gone through years before.
Remarried and in love with a wonderful man, she had never been treated better in her life.
But......... she could not get over feelings of abandonment from her first marriage and lived in constant fear that once again someone she loved deeply would leave her.
Healing didn’t take place all at once but it began in a profound way when one of the women said to her:
“I can’t promise you that your husband will be faithful to you and never leave you.

Humans are not always true.
But God is One who will never leave you alone.
If you can’t trust your husband right now, don’t worry about that, and start learning to trust God more.
Everything else will fall into place.”
Though our feelings come and go, God’s love for us does not.
