Feeling .........Afraid & Lonely ?

Did you lately feel afraid or lonely ......?, 

Remind yourself of the words in Psalm 91: 1,2,4:

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” 

A few years ago the National Geographic covered a story about a fire in the Yellowstone National Park in America. 

After the fire, a group of rangers ascended the mountain to evaluate the initial damage. 

At the foot of a big tree, one of the rangers spotted a skeleton of a bird, almost completely covered with ashes. 

It was strange that the bird did not fly away with the approaching fire.

The ranger took his walking stick and lifted the carcass of the bird from the tree. 

He suddenly gasped for air. 

Under the wings of the dead bird, he found three little chicks – alive and well. 

The ranger realized that the mother, aware of the approaching fire, took her chicks to the bottom of the tree where there was the least smoke. 

She then covered them with her wings and gave her life to protect her chicks.

Jesus died for us so that we can have a relationship with God. 

Let’s therefore remind ourselves that He promised to cover and protect us like the bird protected her chicks. 

Turn to Him..............., for He is already waiting for you with open arms.

Thank Him for sending His' Son to die for us, so we can be set free from sin. 

Ask for help, -to daily grow closer to Him....
