Relationship Improvement with a Living God ....as a Lifestyle

The only way to form a habit is through constant repetition of actions for at least 21 days, -we are told.
Only then it will become an integral part of our lifestyle & not any(more) a burden....

Think for a moment about your quiet time with God......
Do you sometimes feel guilty if you miss your quiet times with God or if you don’t have an hour or two like others to spend with God daily.... ?
Perhaps we should rather change the way we spend time with God.
i.e. In stead of spending one 'l-o-n-ggg' session, -rather several short 'titbits' of time fragments  spread throughout the day.......

If your work for instance requires of you to spend a lot of time in your car, you can get a small booklet with scriptures (at any book shop) and whenever you are waiting at a traffic light, you can open the booklet, read one of the scriptures and meditate upon it.
If you are a teacher, you can do the same between classes.
Even if you are a doctor, you can do this between patients.
If you are a secretary, you can do this during your tea break.

Contemplation.....
By filling yourself up with the Word and promises of God, you will experience that it deepens your relationship with Him as you are making a relationship with Him as such , intimate as integral part of your daily lifestyle....!
Listen to the value of this action in these two scriptures:

James 4:8: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

Proverbs 3:5-6: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Know that.....
- God are around you ......Daily

- God Longs to have an intimate relationship with ........ me, you...

Consideration.........
God wants us to make Him part of our lives and not just isolate Him to the half an hour or hour we spend with Him during our quiet times.
He wants us to remember Him when we are sitting in a meeting making important decisions, or running out on the sport field for a big match, or if you are comforting your crying baby in the middle of the night.
He is right beside you.
You can speak to Him at any time.
Is this not that what a relationship is all about..............?

Shalom
